We built this kit around a front fender mount designed specifically for Chevy pickups, so you get a clean, factory looking install. If you’re more of a fuss-free, classic CBer, choose our straightforward Uniden radio option. If you want your CB to be as decked out as your pickup, the Cobra 29 series is the radio for you. Included in this kit is an installation guide so you’ll have your rig up and running in no time.

| Antenna: | Firestik FS: The Firestik FS series is the most popular fiberglass CB antenna on the market today. The FS has a tunable tip that is easily adjustable and the fiberglass body is extremely durable. If you'd like the Firestik to be more flexible, you can easily add a CB spring to the antenna. |
| Mounting Hardware: | Included in the kit is a Chevy hood mount. The mount attaches to an existing bolt on the hood rail and has additional bolt holes if you want to add stability. Please see the links below for more mounting details. |

Choosing a Radio
This package features a number of radio options. We've listed the biggest differentiators of each radio below:
- Uniden 520 - A rock-solid, super reliable CB with a basic feature set.
- Cobra 29 LTD - The most popular full-sized CB ever. Super reliable with a well rounded feature set
- Cobra 29 WX NW ST - Just like the 29 LTD, but with a backlit display and NOAA weather stations
Choosing a Chevy Mount
- 1999 - 2001: Sierra & Silverado
- 2002+: Silverado & Sierra through 2006. Suburban, Tahoe & Avalanche through 2009
- Silverado 2007 - 2009: Silverado & Sierra 2007-2009
- 2010+: Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe & Avalanche
Choosing an Antenna Length
The longer your antenna, the better your CB system will perform. So we recommend using the longest antenna you possibly can! Here are the approximate ranges you'll can expect to get with a 3' or 4' antenna:
- 3' Long - 3 to 4 miles
- 4' Long - 4 to 6 miles
